About Mike

I'm a Graphic Designer from Toronto, Canada currently based in Sydney, Australia. I’m flexible, resourceful, and able to create effective and innovative designs to convey desired idea. I’m a versatile creative professional with over 7 years experience in a variety of industries.

In my experience, I’ve worked on a variety of projects including:

  • Branding – research, development and execution of corporate identity, service products, and personal branding

  • Campaigns – conceptualisation, development and execution of a range of channels to market: print ads, flyers, online collateral, video animation and production, et al.

  • In-House Marketing – presentations, reports, forms, infographics, stationery, operational manuals, product brochures, and other related business collateral

  • Photography – from freelance to creative direction of on-site photoshoots with production companies

  • Odds and Ends – other areas range from vehicle livery, machine decals, event stands/booths and props and website planning

Previous to my work in creative services, I'm also well versed in duties of a marketing professional:

  • Account Management – coordination for the business and clients of marketing campaigns, liaising of project deliverables between stakeholders, budget development and management, attendance of meetings between parties, and overall day-to-day operations

  • Project Management – creation of reports, documentations and presentations, analysis of research and analytics, development management of timing and critical paths, working with vendors such as: printers, translators, freelancers, media vendors and agencies

I’ve worked in a few different industries: start-ups, technology, agency for financial institutions and labour unions, real estate and travel. I would say my knowledge from each prior job has allowed me to bring something new to the workflow process
